Microfinance provides ‘micro’ loans and small business development resources to entrepreneurs in developing markets. By providing the individual or family with a small amount of capital infusion coupled with wisdom, these microenterprises can harvest “30, 50, or 100x” their original investment. This in turn stimulates greater economic activity in impoverished areas of the world.

As with any of our partners, the Virtua Foundation requires high levels of accountability and prudent fiscal management with any organization that we work with.
